Uncork’d Releases Killing Joan This April
Uncork’d Entertainment has obtained distribution rights to Killing Joan and will be publishing it on VOD platforms soon. The Joan referenced in the title works for the Mob as a tough-as-nails enforcer — until her boss double-crosses her and leaves her for dead. Now she IS dead — but she’s still around, and she’ll be using her new supernatural powers to exact vengeance and send the rest of the Mob where she’s going!
Described by Uncork’d as a blend of The Crow and Death Wish, Killing Joan stars Jaime Bernadette as the title character, as well as Teo Celigo, Erik Aude, David Carey Foster, Katarina Leigh Waters, Erin O’Brien and Daniel Gardner. The film was written and directed by Todd Bartoo, and the special effects were created by Paul Lada (you can see more of his work in Pacific Rim: Uprising later this month).
Killing Joan will be out April 3 on VOD platforms, and on DVD July 10. Here’s the trailer….
