Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta Starts Tomorrow
PlayStation Europe has confirmed on Twitter that the multiplayer beta for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will start earlier tomorrow (Dec. 3). That’s a little ahead of the originally scheduled start date for the multiplayer beta of Dec. 4.
The multiplayer beta will officially go online on Thursday at 1700 GMT. Unfortunately, only owners of the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will have access to the multiplayer beta at the moment. The beta version of the game will reportedly (via Gamespot) will have two maps and only one gameplay mode. In addition, it is said to feature a slice of what what is being offered for the game. Unlike the multiplayer beta for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, the progress from the beta will not carry forward for the full game at launch.
Hopefully, Sony and Naughty Dog will consider an open beta for non-owners of The Nathan Drake Collection some other time, possibly closer to the game’s release. With PlayStation Experience 2015 set for this weekend, there is sure to be a lot more news about the game coming out of the convention. As mentioned earlier, Naughty Dog will be holding a panel at the convention featuring the cast and crew members for the game.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End arrives on March 18, 2016. The game will be available exclusively for PlayStation 4.
