Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Goes Gold
The Naughty Dog team has confirmed on Twitter that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has gone gold. You can check out the announcement below. So that means the game is finally done, and now it begins its final printing on millions of discs to be manufactured and shipped all over the world. So after many delays, the ultimate release of Uncharted 4 is nearly here.
They aren’t the only ones getting on the action for the adulation of the game going old. The game’s creative director, Neil Druckmann has also weighed in on the news, saying that “every journey must come to an end.” Co-director Bruce Straley added that he thinks the game is “the most visually stunning game ever created.”
Even the Xbox team member Larry Hyrb complimented the Naughty Dog team on the accomplishment, and he also tweeted, “It’s always a great milestone when a game you worked on for years goes gold. Congrats!”
The anticipation is definitely running high, and it will be even higher after these statements from Naughty Dog. Hopefully it will be a worthy installment for what will likely be the last adventure for franchise star Nathan Drake. After numerous delays, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End arrives on May 10. The game will be available exclusively for PlayStation 4.
