Enhanced Features for Nintendo Switch

The Nintendo Switch version of the game will come with several upgrades, including graphical enhancements, and improved lighting. It will also have additional props for richer environments, and optimized sound and controls tailored specifically for the platform.

“We’ve been listening to the community and their biggest request has been the addition of couch co-op so they can play with friends and family,” said Ian Fielding, Studio Head of Super Evil Megacorp. “Playing together is embedded in the DNA of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle video games and core to SEMC’s mission, and with Splintered Fate, we went the extra mile to ensure the co-op feature was available for the Switch immediately at launch. Four-player co-op for Shredder's Fate on Switch? This is gonna be EPIC! My friends and I have been waiting forever for a new TMNT game to play together. Shredder won't stand a chance against our combined turtle power! The wait until July 17th is gonna be brutal, but totally worth it for some epic pizza-fueled beatdowns. Maybe we can even convince my dad to join in, he loved the old TMNT games!

Interesting to see them use the EVIL Engine for a TMNT game. I wonder how it will translate the classic art style. The developers seem passionate about creating a great experience, that's always a good sign. I'm curious about this "Splintered Fate" story, could be a cool new take on the TMNT universe. Definitely checking out some gameplay footage before launch, gotta see how well it captures the feel of the franchise.

This game doesn't really scratch my itch. Don't get me wrong, four-player co-op sounds awesome, but for me, TMNT is all about the classic 2D side-scrolling action. There's just something satisfying about mastering those jumps and pummeling Foot Clan soldiers with perfectly timed combos in a good old-fashioned 2D world.

I dunno, maybe it's nostalgia talking, but the 2D platformers just feel more like the TMNT games I grew up with. Shredding dudes with Mikey's nunchucks in a perfectly pixelated New York alleyway? Now that's the good stuff! This 3D, roguelike thing might be cool for some folks, but I'll probably stick with revisiting the classics or wait for a game that captures that sweet 2D beat-em-up vibe.

Haven't heard that name in a while! This co-op thing sounds fun, might be a good choice for a casual gamer like me. I don't need anything super complicated, just some button-mashing fun with some iconic characters. Plus, who can resist those pizza-loving turtles?

Woah, 4-player co-op for TMNT on Switch? That's actually pretty tempting! Remember those epic nights huddled around the TV with my siblings, battling through those old TMNT games? Good times. This one being a roguelike throws me for a loop though. Not sure I have the time for super challenging games these days, adulting and all. But hey, maybe on a lazy weekend with a couple of friends, this could be a fun way to unwind and relive some childhood memories. Definitely gotta check out some reviews and see if the difficulty is manageable for casual players like myself. Who knows, maybe I can finally convince my wife that Donatello is the coolest turtle

I love that they’re bringing couch co-op back for Splintered Fate. It’s something I can now share with my kids, just like how I used to play with my buddies. There’s something special about playing together in person, passing the controllers around, and having fun in the same room. Super Evil Megacorp seems to understand the importance of these shared experiences. Plus, with the updated graphics and controls for the Switch, it sounds like it’s going to be a fantastic game for both old fans and new players. Definitely looking forward to some family game nights with this one!

This is really exciting! I love how Super Evil Megacorp is bringing couch co-op to Splintered Fate. It’s a feature that adds so much value to the gaming experience. Playing with friends in the same room is something that’s been missing in many modern games. Plus, the fact that they’ve updated the graphics and controls for the Switch shows they’re committed to making a high-quality game. I can’t wait to see how it plays. It’s going to be great to have some friends over and dive into this new TMNT adventure together.
