Tiny Toons is getting a revival!!!
When I was a little boy, I use to wake up to these lyrics every Saturday Morning!
We’re tiny, we’re toony
We’re all a little looney
And in this cartoony
We’re invading your TV
We’re comic dispensers
We crack up all the sensors
On Tiny Toon Adventures
Get a dose of comedy
The Animaniacs revival announcement has put some 90’s kids some nostalgia bliss. Well, more 90s nostalgia coming because HBO Max and Cartoon Network will make a revival for Tiny Toons!
Tiny Toons is part of the childhood of younger Gen-Xers and older millennials. It is supposed to be a New Generation of Looney tunes characters who are the teenage equivalent of the classics. These characters are students of a University where they have the Looney Toons veterans as teachers.
Buster Bunny and Babs Bunny are the teenage equivalents of Bugs Bunny. Some fans may assume that Babs is a teenage version of Lola Bunny, but she existed long before that Space Jam’s original character did. Buster and Babs are the faces of the Tiny Toons franchise.
The other notable characters from the series are Plucky Duck, A green colored teenage drake who will remind you of Daffy Duck. Elmyra Duff is a teenage gender swap of Elmer Fudd. Unlike her older equivalent, she is not a hunter. Elmyra is an over-affectionate animal lover who is unaware she is abusive to animals with her hugs and affection.
The original got canceled almost three decades ago, and it lasted three seasons. Throughout the years, it maintained a cult following. For years Warner Brothers ignored and neglected this franchise. During the runs of 2 Looney toons revivals, there was no mention of Tiny Toons Adventures characters. During its prime, this show spawned a popular SNES videogame that even a SEGA port.
The revival will be titled “Tiny Toons Looniversity.”
Based on the title, this new series might move to a college setting instead of highschool. Buster and Babs are the only confirmed returning character at his moment.

The NES, SNES and Genesis Tiny Toons games are all different, actually — none are a port of each other. They’re all pretty solid.
