CD Projekt Red has released the latest gameplay video for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The new video features the malevolent beasts and monsters Geralt of Rivia can hunt in the world of the game. The game looks to create an immersive RPG experience unlike any other, and the creatures that fill the world are a big part of that.
The Witcher 3 emphasizes learning how to understand your monstrous foes. Specifically, you have to learn where to find them, their attack patterns and what scares them. With that, you will have to best figure out how kill them. In total, the game will have more than 80 creatures and monsters for Geralt to match skills and wits with. Creatures come at Witcher from land, air or even water like the Siren or the Drowner. All the creatures have specific fears and weaknesses that Geralt can exploit using his arsenal of weapons or magic spells. In the video, the designers also talk about creating an basically virtual eco-system for the creatures and wildlife in the game, which sounds amazing.
If you can believe it, the game is finally two weeks out from its release date. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt drops on May 19. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
