The Patrolman Comes To VOD Tomorrow

Ray Martin Films has announced they’ll be releasing the new horror comedy The Patrolman on digital platforms tomorrow (aka October 24).

You’ve seen the setup before of the grizzled policeman days from retirement, but not like this. The protagonist of this one, sure enough, hits the most dangerous case of his career at the most ironic time, but there’s additional pressure for him and his partner to crack this one. They have no idea who the serial killer they’re after is — and it could be someone within the force. That means either of them could be the next victim!

The Patrolman stars Johnath Davis (Terrifier 2), Ray Martin (Micki, Happy Hour Slasher), Damon Forte (A Christmas Reckoning), and Tony Stavola (Fuggeddaboutitt). The film was directed by Ray Martin from a script written by Damon Forte and Martin. Tom Rafferty, Craig Beazer, and Kate Naughton served as producers.

“The Patrolman is my first foray into the horror genre, and an homage to 80s style horror,” says Martin. “I grew up with Manic Cop and Friday the 13th, and hopefully the film gives fans of those classics a thrill.”

Look for The Patrolman to be patrolling the rounds on VOD October 24.

Ray Martin Films is proud to announces the upcoming release of the horror comedy The Patrolman – slated for VOD/Streaming on October 24, 2023. Days from retirement, a veteran detective and his partner must race against the clock to stop a serial killer before it’s too late. As the bodies pile up, they start to wonder if the killer is one of their own, and if they may be next.

This movie sounds like a blast! The mix of horror and comedy is right up my alley. I've always had a soft spot for grizzled cops in their final days on the job. It's exciting to see how they tackle this new case.I'm a big fan of 80s-style horror, so I'm really looking forward to The Patrolman. I hope it captures the same kind of thrill and nostalgia that classics like Manic Cop and Friday the 13th did.

I can't believe they're making yet another film about a cop near retirement. It's such a worn-out trope. They really need to come up with fresher ideas for movies.

This movie seems interesting, but I've seen so many cop thrillers before. It's a bit overdone. I might give it a shot when it's available, but I hope it has something unique to offer beyond the typical retirement angle.

I've always been a fan of horror movies, so I'm attracted to this movie. I think serial killers always have a motive, and I can't wait to find out what was the motive. The serial killer is well-built and terrifying. I hope they catch him before he kills everyone.
