In The Other 99 you are trapped on an isolated island – but you’re not alone. There are others and the only way off the island is Through The Other 99. Will you kill to survive? Or will you find another way? Welcome to the most brutal and mysterious battle royale experience available. With the help and feedback from the fans, developer Burning Arrow has now released a fresh update for The Other 99. This update introduces some highly anticipated features. New AI routines have been set in place, adding more diversity and morality into the fight for survival. The brutal combat system has also been improved to ramp up the intensity of your encounters on the island.
The Other 99 focuses on a gruesome fight for survival, allowing players to experience the feeling of being isolated and alone. With no help nor hope. Searching for clues, they’ll learn that there is something larger going on and uncovering it may be the key to survival. For the player death is indeed the end. The game makes use of a Permadeath System, wiping save games and generating a brand new set of 99 unique AI giving them a different experience with each playthrough. The game already has a number of features, including:
- Survival of the fittest: Do what it takes to get off the island. Follow the cryptic note and butcher your way to freedom. Only thing is.. many of the other 99 have the same idea.
- Mind over matter: Keep focus and lurk amongst the bushes, tactically sabotaging camps and assassinating by the dead of night.
- Discovery: Let animals be animals. Watch from a distance and decipher the mysteries of the island. Maybe there is more to the island than meets the eye.
The Other 99 is a single player, first-person, action-survival game. Ripped from your ordinary life you awaken on a desolate island with nothing but a note that reads, “The only way off the island is through The Other 99”. You can find the game on Steam.
