The Elder Scrolls Legends Hits Open Beta
Gamers can finally get an early taste of the new computer card game for The Elder Scrolls series. Bethesda Softworks officially announced this week at QuakeCon 2016 that the Open Beta has begun for The Elder Scrolls Legends. This is the highly anticipated, free-to-play strategy card game based on the Elder Scrolls franchise. Fans can download the PC Open Beta for the game now at this link.
The new game features two-lane gampelay, a single-play campaign and several multiplayer modes versus AI or live opponents. Bethesda Softworks is promising accessible gameplay for beginners who want to start quickly and strategic depth for gamers who want to play an expert level.
Bethesda creating a game like this for the Elder Scrolls series is a smart move. For Blizzard Entertainment, the Hearthstone game based on the Warcraft series has paid off dividends for them. Now CD Projekt RED is going to release their own computer card game for The Witcher series with a solo version of Gwent. But this card game will probably be very profitable for Bethesda.
The game is currently in development for PC, Mac, iOS Tablets and Phones, and Android Tablets and Phones. The Elder Scrolls Legends is due out for a full release later this year.
