The Division: New Extended E3 Gameplay Demo Video Released

Earlier this week, Ubisoft dropped a new extended gameplay demo video from E3 for Tom Clancy’s The Division. The new video is available in the player below and features developer commentary for the walkthrough. The Division was first announced two years ago, and the release is still a ways off. However, the highly anticipated, third-person shooter is well into development before its eventual release, which is scheduled for 2016.

The new video reveals that the game is currently in its Alpha stage and showcases the dynamic and immersive world of the game. Players will have to go into the Dark Zone of New York City and get loot. However, since the loot in the Dark Zone is contaminated, it has to be extracted. However, players will also have to deal with other rogue agents and the Cleaners, people who used to work for the city but now use malevolent means to “clean” the city of a terrible viral outbreak.

Tom Clancy’s The Division is a revolutionary next-gen experience that brings the RPG into a modern military setting for the first time. In the wake of a devastating pandemic that sweeps through New York City, basic services fail one by one, and without access to food or water, the city quickly descends into chaos. As an agent of The Division, you’ll specialize, modify, and level up your gear, weapons, and skills to take back New York on your own terms.

Tom Clancy’s The Division is due out later in 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
