Terror Films Releases Political Horror This Land in March
The title is almost a giveaway, but not a hint of horror. This March, Terror Films will hit the trail again with a politically focused horror film, This Land. The studio has made the poster ad trailer available ahead of the release.
This Land shares the story of how events push two families with contrasting political views to unite their forces in order to survive. The two families are again at war, especially when a cabin rental mix-up lands them in a double occupancy situation.
When Ana agrees to spend the July 4 holiday outdoors with her husband and son, she plans to rebuild the struggling relationship and hopes to even overcome her traumas, suffered during a home invasion a year ago. The independence holiday is also a time for mourning her loss, an unborn second child.
Things do not work out as she hoped more so when her lifelong political foes are now sharing the same cabin with them. In the midst of political strife and debates, an unexpected threat appears that is about to wreak terror in their lives.
Will the two families be able to unite forces and overcome a tribal ritual group who desire to make them the sacrifice of their celebrations? The movie, This Land, may have won its title due to the common similarity faced by countrymen – political divide, personal grief, and sinister opponents.
