Ted is a prequel of the hit comedy series of the same name. Seth McFarlane will reprise his role as the Vulgar drug addicted Teddy Bear that came to life. Mark Wahlberg will not be reprising his role as John Bennett because it the series will focus on the character’s teenage life. So Max Burkholder will be taking over the role. It will be set in the 90s and we will see the early days of this perverted Teddy Bear and his dorky human best friend. A fair warning for some parents, this show is not for kids. The original film made $549,368,315 in the box office worldwide. The sequel Ted 2, Made $215,863,606, not as big but succesful enough to get a cult following. There some fans who hoped for a Ted 3 but it never happen. Making a prequel makes at this moment as Mark Walberg has been vocal about retiring and leaving Hollywood,
Expect to see comedy that is not for the faint of the heart as its guaranteed to cross boundaries. We had seen so many Christmas miracle movies where a toy comes to life and became a child’s bestfriend. Ted shows what will happen to that little kid when he grows up.

John Bennett and his talking, sentient Teddy Bear, Ted, received 15 minutes of fame when they became a global headline around the world. It’s a Christmas miracle that fulfilled a little boy’s wish for his stuffed toy best friend to come to life. However, years later, people are no longer amazed by a sentient Teddy Bear. John became a school outcast because he is dorky. In attempt to make John look cool to his friends, he influence him to do drugs and try to help him lose virginity. Not the best influence for a teenager at all. Ted will be compelled by John’s parents to attend school in the hope that he will be less crass. The release date on Peacock is January 11, 2024.
