The only option before was to simply pine over our lost hobby and dream if the good ol’ days. Remember MORK BORG? It was Free League’s love letter to metal culture in the form of a tabletop game that took place in a gnarly occult world. The game was released early in 2020 and, despite the obstacles you’d think would keep it from selling, weathered the pandemic enough to make a sequel possible. Which brings us to CY_BORG!

Tales From The Loop was such a success for Free League, they’re doing it again, only this time slightly differently. The Tales From The Loop Board Game will be set in the same world as the roleplaying game, only with different rules and more physical props.
OddFish Games recently hit 200% funding on the Kickstarter for their tabletop RPG, How to RPG with Your Cat. The crowdfunding campaign started on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, and runs through Thursday, October 14, 2021. Rewards tiers include options as low as $15 for a PDF of the game book, $30 for a physical paperback copy of the same core book. The crowdfunding campaign also includes premium reward tiers. These tiers will allow backers will receive handmade, cat-themed TTRPG accessories, in addition to the PDF and Paperback versions of the game book.
We write about tabletop game maker Free League a lot around these parts, and based on what they just announced, we don’t expect to stop anytime soon. They’ve acquired the Blade Runner license, which is basically printing money even if the game is bad (but that probably won’t be the case).
As of today, there’s one more virtual tabletop (VTT) service you can play Vaesen and Symbaroum on. Free League has announced they’ve released versions of these two games that work on Foundry.
Free League’s Alien RPG is one of their most successful products, and has received several additional campaigns since its release. The latest expansion, Colonial Marines Operations Manual, was announced last December for a March 2021 release. It hit a delay or two since that point, but it’s finally out now.
Free League sent us a note this evening stating two of its most popular tabletop games, Tales From The Loop and Mutant: Year Zero, are now playable on the Foundry VTT (Virtual Tabletop) platform.
Since the game’s inception in 2015, publisher Free League has released several volumes and expansions in the Symbaroum series, as well as at least four Adventure Packs. As of today, there’s a fifth one to add to your shelf…Alberetor: The Haunted Waste launches this week.
Free League unveiled Ruins of Symbaroum, the 5E version of the popular tabletop game, about a month ago, and launched its crowdfunding campaign a couple weeks later. The campaign is now in its final days, and has hauled in way over its asking goal: $424,512 as of this writing and climbing. It’s not too late to get your pledge in either.
Despite the date, it’s no joke — Free League has another Symbaroum product in the works. The tabletop publisher unveiled Ruins of Symbaroum, the 5E version of the game, today, and a crowdfunding campaign is planned for later in the month.
