Bandai Namco, holders of the Gundam license, are once again publishing another mobile game based around it. MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM U.C. ENGAGE is already out in Japan and has racked up 2.5 million downloads there; the English version was confirmed today for Apple and Android devices.
Avatar: The Last Airbender has had a presence in the mobile gaming scene for some time now; the most recent title being Avatar Generations, which we just wrote about last week. But there’s more on the way…publisher Tilting Point and developer AN Games have announced they’re working on their own Avatar game, due for release in 2024.
London-based studio Fourfold Games has released the early access version of their roguelike strategy RPG Relic Space on Steam. It’s the second science fiction roguelike for the team, who previously released Xenomarine in 2019.
Publisher Team17 and developer Covenant.dev are working on a single-player dark fantasy strategy game called Gord. Today they revealed 16 minutes of gameplay in a new behind-the-scenes video, which can be viewed below.

Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together is one of them, and as proof, it continues to be released and re-released over and over. The game first appeared in 1995 as a Japanese exclusive on the Super Famicom, but first visited the West in the form of its Playstation port a few years later, where it received rave reviews.

Indie game publisher Modern Wolf and developer Afterschool Studio have announced the launch of their turn-based tactics game Cantata on Steam. The game is currently in Early Access form and has not fully reached completion, but contains the first three chapters (with more to come).
Next month, a rather unique strategy game by Game Source Studio will be released in Early Access. Mahokenshi is a combination of adventuring, deck-building and strategy battling on a hex-grid system, and you can try out a special free preview of the game this month on Steam.
It’s not every company that supports their real-time strategy games for a half-decade, but Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is one of the lucky few. Publisher Daedalic Entertainment and developer Mimimi Games have been adding expansions to the original for nearly five years, and on that fifth birthday, they’ll be releasing the latest addtion: Aiko’s Choice.
We just found out today that AMC (as in the cable network, not the theater chain) has its own video game division. They’re now working with Madrid-based developer Fictiorama Studios (Do Not Feed the Monkeys) to publish a real-time strategy game that’s unlike any typical RTS we’ve seen: The Fabulous Fear Machine.
