Very revealing. It’s surprising how innocent innocuous casual conversations via text messages reveal a lot about an individual.

Finland Papa centers around the life of a young woman grieving the loss of her grandmother. In the first episode of this very short series, we meet Yu Ri (played by Kim Bo Ra, “My Only Love Song”). The storyline for The Secret Romantic Guesthouse begins with a young crown prince who barely escaped death. His father was been brutally slain by his uncle. Somehow he gets away, runs into the yard of a nobleman, and hides in a dog house.

Shameful. Yeah. Shameful is a better description for his clothing. I mean … he’s a high priest and his bare abdomen is showing.
Noh Sang Chun (played by Heo Sung Tae) is a thug who turned into a scammer. He got scammed by “a friend” and that’s how he learned. He was already a criminal but wasn’t involved in scamming. However, having learned the hard way “how it’s done”, he became a master scammer. He stole a lot of money from various people and then when he was about to get arrested … he disappeared. Actually, he died! At least, that’s what the official police report said.
The story is historical fiction, set during the Joseon dynasty. The two main characters are a prince and a noblewoman who are both caught in a web of rumors, complicated by a curse.
