I had sent my latest interview subject, Lisa Fuller, an interview request last year. I didn’t initially hear back from her, so when I saw that she would be attending the April 2023 Chiller Theatre convention, I knew I had to not only meet her because I loved her work in movies like Teen Witch and Earth Girls Are Easy, but because I wanted to confirm the e-mail address I sent the interview request to was accurate. She checked it out a few weeks after we met at Chiller, and she agreed to an interview.
Last year, I interviewed Tiffany Helm about her life and career. The interview went well, and I’ve kept in touch with Tiffany since then. One day, I asked if she could put in a good word for me with her mother. Who is Tiffany’s mother? She’s actress Brooke Bundy, who 80s horror fans will remember from her role as Elaine Parker in A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors and A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, but who also has a career going back to the 1960s. Tiffany connected us, and earlier this month, I had the pleasure of interviewing Brooke about her long and diverse career. I hope you all enjoy getting to know her.
I first came across my newest interview subject, Sheila Lussier, when I was looking up the 1990 film Dick Tracy on the Internet Movie Database. Seeing her listed in an uncredited role, I clicked on Sheila’s name and found a very intriguing filmography with work in some of my favorite 80s and 90s projects. Looking beyond acting, I saw that Sheila has also worked as a model, a journalist, a director and a jewelry designer. When I saw that she was Facebook friends with my friend and 2020 interview subject Deborah Dutch, I knew I would be interested in interviewing her. I reached out to Sheila via her Etsy page, and we spoke late in January about her long and diverse career. I hope you all enjoy getting to know this versatile and incredible talent.
