Syberia 3 Coming to Nintendo Switch
Today, Microids officially announced that the upcoming game, Benoit Sokal’s Syberia 3, is in development for the upcoming new Nintendo console, the Nintendo Switch. Additionally, Microids plans announcing the release date for the game very soon. You can check out a new announcement trailer in the player below.
Speaking on the news, Microids Vice President Elliot Grassiano commented, “We can’t wait to see Syberia fans discover Kate Walker’s new adventure on Nintendo Switch. Nintendo, with the Switch, brings one more time a whole new innovative vision to the game industry and we are proud to be part of it.”
In the role of Kate Walker, players begin the story after Walker is left for dead on the shore and later found by the Youkol tribe, a nomadic people caring for their snow ostriches during migrations. Together, they are trapped in the city of Valsembor and have to finda way together to continue their journey in a chase against their enemies and face unexpected challenges. However, Kate Walker’s past is also catching up with her.
Syberia 3 will be fully voiced in several languages, including French, English, Russian, Polish and German. The game will have optional subtitles in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Czech, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, simplified and traditional Chinese. Additionally, it will feature a completely original soundtrack soundtrack is composed by Inon Zur (Fallout 4, Dragon Age, Prince of Persia), who worked on the music for Syberia 2
