The minds that made action packed Capcom classics are back at a new studio with an upcoming ARPG. Coming soon in 2026 is Stupid Never Dies.
Developed by GPTRACK50 Inc., Stupid Never Dies is an Action RPG. Hiroyuki Kobayashi leads the games development, a veteran of the gaming industry who previously worked with Capcom. Alongside him is an equally experienced team who have worked with him on many classic titles, like Resident Evil and Devil May Cry.
While the game is an action RPG, the studio states that the game is much more than that. Stupid Never Dies touts itself as the first Blazing Fast Growth genre, and incorporates onto the base ARPG experience. Add onto that a unique punk visual style, making this game one you will want to look out for in the future.
A ZOMBIE, A GIRL, AND A DUNGEON OF MONSTERS
Taking place in a dungeon of monsters, you play as a zombie named Davy. Stuck at the bottom of the monster hierarchy, he finds his life turned upside down when he finds a frozen human girl. Now he seeks to bring the girl back to life, achieving that by fighting his way through the dungeon.
Being an ARPG, you engage enemies in fast paced combat to level up and upgrade Davy. Being a zombie, his body is very modifiable, allowing for a bevy of interesting upgrades. You can even steal abilities from the monsters you fight, and make them your own.
Speaking of enemies, you have a wide variety of classic monsters to butcher your way through. You’ll fight through skeletons, lizard men, werewolves, and more as you make your way through the dungeon. Take what makes them dangerous, and become strong enough to take on anything that gets in your way.
