Capcom has officially announced that the kunoichi Ibuki is set to make a return to the Street Fighter franchise in Street Fighter V as the next DLC fighter. You can check out the reveal trailer for Ibuki in the player below. Ibuki will be the latest DLC character for the game.
Ibuki is a deadly ninja who from the mountains of Japan and likes to hang out with her pet tanuki Dona and her best friend Sarai Kurosawa. She is usually tasked with difficult missions and training. She dreams of one day finishing her ninja exams to eventually live the life of a normal schoolgirl. Ibuki first appeared in Street Fighter III: New Generation.
Ibuki’s V-Trigger in the game is the Isshaku Horokudama. In this attack, she digs into her bag of ninja tools and throws a bomb at her opponent. The bomb can go off quickly after slight delay or a longer delay.
The new trailer also confirms a new alternate stage that will be added soon. Per Capcom, it’s a day time version of the Kanzuki Estate Stage, named the Estate at Noon. Street Fighter V is available now for PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. Ibuki can be purchased as a DLC character or through the game’s Season Pass. The dedicated story mode is also set to launch for Street Fighter V very soon.
