Star Wars The Force Awakens: More TV Spots Hit the Web
Star Wars mania is back and in full swing. The world is very well about to hit peak Star Wars, if it’s not there already. Some more TV spots were released this week for Star Wars The Force Awakens, revealing some new footage and dialogue for the movie. You can check out the latest TV promos in the players below.
In the first spot for The Force Awakens, it’s just a short, 15-second one. It shows more of the dialogue exchange between Rey and BB-8. Rey asks, “Where do you come from?” BB-8 answers with its communications beeps. Rey responds, “Classified, really? Me too.” So Rey can understand BB-8, and her backstory is steeped in mystery. Of course, BB-8 having just met Rey is not ready to reveal its own secrets of its mission with the Resistance.
The next TV spot is longer and is way more action-packed. This provides some more footage of Han Solo in the film, offering a blaster to Rey. Rey explains that she can take care of herself. Han Solo simply replies in true Han Solo fashion, “That’s why I’m giving it to you.” There’s also some footage of Rey in action, beating down some baddies with her staff. There’s also a bit more of the Stormtrooper with that special electric riot baton that apparently can duel with a lightsaber, that Finn seems to be brandish during part of the movie. The Stormtrooper twirls it around like a master martial artist, which is a bit funny.
Star Wars The Force Awakens is almost here. The film finally arrives in theaters on December 18.
