Squid Game season 3 is coming next year

Squid Game Season 3 is Coming SOON! Its only few days since  Squid Game Season 2 just dropped, and it’s already blowing up everywhere, hitting number one in  92 countries. People waited like, forever (three years!) for it, and to tide them over, they even made that reality show, Squid Game: The Challenge. Some people weren’t sure about it, but it actually got pretty popular and kept fans happy while they waited.

But Season 2 ended on a total cliffhanger, which is kinda scary because Netflix has a habit of canceling shows and leaving us hanging. 1 Luckily, we won’t have to wait another three years! They just announced that Squid Game Season 3 is coming NEXT YEAR!

Squid Game Season 3 Announcement

Season 3 is going to be the LAST one. So, we’ll finally see how Gi-hun’s (Lee Jung-jae) revenge plan plays out and get some closure. This is way better than waiting ages for more seasons. We’re also hoping to see more of characters like the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) and maybe even some surprising returns.

Squid Game has been a HUGE deal. Remember when Lee Jung-jae won the Emmy for Best Actor? That was HUGE! The show itself snagged a bunch of Emmy wins, which was a massive moment for Korean television on the world stage. It totally changed the game for Korean dramas (K-dramas) and showed how streaming can make shows go viral worldwide.

Part of what makes Squid Game so gripping is how intense it is. Let’s be real, it’s super violent and gory. There are some seriously heartbreaking moments too – we’ve lost some characters we really cared about. It’s not for the faint of heart, but that raw intensity is a big part of why it’s so captivating. Everyone loves the crazy story, the social stuff it talks about, and all the drama (and, yeah, the violence).

So, get hyped! We’re getting a final season next year, and everyone’s dying to see how it all ends. We’ll finally find out what happens to Gi-hun and what the whole Squid Game thing means in the end.Since Season 2 ended on such a major cliffhanger, we’re all left wondering what’s going to happen to these amazing new characters: the inspiring trans woman badass Hyun-ju, No-eul the North Korean defector turned Pink Soldier, the pregnant player we worry about, Jun-hee, and the mother and son duo Geum-ja and Yong-sik. Their fates are totally uncertain, which makes the wait for Season 3 even more agonizing! So, get hyped! We’re getting a final season next year, and everyone’s dying to see how it all ends. We’ll finally find out what happens to Gi-hun and all the other characters, and what the whole Squid Game thing means in the end. It’s gonna be epic! Just be prepared for more violence, gore, and probably a few more heartbreaks along the way. And as if the games weren’t terrifying enough already, Season 3 is teasing the introduction of a second doll! Young-hee still gives us nightmares with the carnage she caused during Red Light, Green Light. Now, we’re going to meet her boyfriend, Cheol-su! What fresh horrors will this new robotic menace unleash?

Honestly, I thought Season 2 was going to suck. Losing so many of my favorite characters in Season 1 was brutal, and I didn’t see how they could possibly replace them. But wow, they proved me wrong. Hyun-ju is such a badass, No-eul’s transformation into a Pink Soldier is fascinating, and Jun-hee’s pregnancy added so much tension. Somehow, they made me care about these new characters just as much as the old ones.

That said, I’m still heartbroken that Thanos didn’t make it. He was one of the most entertaining charactersβ€”this drug-addicted rapper with such a chaotic energy that you couldn’t help but be drawn to him. Even with all his flaws, he had this weird charisma that made him unforgettable. It’s such a shame he didn’t survive to see Season 3. I was really hoping he’d get some sort of redemption arc or at least stick around to add his wild antics to the mix. He might’ve been a mess, but he was our mess.

I'm really glad Season 3 is confirmed, especially since Netflix has this awful habit of leaving us hanging. That cliffhanger in Season 2 was brutal! . It’s great to see that Gi-hun’s story will have a proper conclusion. I’m curious about this Cheol-su doll too. Young-hee set such a terrifying tone in Season 1, so adding another like her could push the tension even higher.

I still haven’t recovered from the heartbreak of losing some of my favorite characters in earlier seasons, so I’m nervous about what’s to come. The cliffhanger left me feeling so unsettledβ€”I couldn’t stop thinking about it! I hope Season 3 gives closure, especially for Geum-ja and Yong-sik. Their storyline really hit me hard. I’ll brace myself for the heartbreak, but I’m so ready to see how it all ends. They remind me a loit of Leann and Trey from the Reality tv spin off.

Ending on a cliffhanger was a bold choice, but announcing Season 3 immediately mitigates potential backlash. I’m curious to see how they balance resolving Gi-hun’s story while integrating new elements like Cheol-su.

Squid Game is such an adrenaline rush. The games, the tension, the twistsβ€”it’s all so good. The idea of adding a second doll like Cheol-su is genius. I can’t wait to see how they up the stakes in the final season. Gi-hun’s revenge story better deliver some epic moments! Season 2 left us hanging, but I’m confident Season 3 will be worth the wait.

I wasn’t sure if I’d even watch Season 2 after how brutal Season 1 was, but wow, it pulled me back in. The new cast is incredibleβ€”I couldn’t stop rooting for Geum-ja because she is a mom and I am very close to my mom, even though I was sure they’d meet a grim end. Somehow, they made it, and now I’m more invested than ever. I can’t believe we have to wait until 2025 to see what happens next.

It still hurts that Jung-bae didn’t make it. That moment crushed me, especially seeing Gi-hun so broken by it. I’m nervous about Season 3 starting at such a low point, but knowing it’s the final chapter gives me hope for closure. I’ve grown attached to the new charactersβ€”Hyun-ju, No-eul, and Geum-ja, especially. They’ve brought so much depth to the story, and I need to see how their arcs end.

Gi-hun’s journey has been so emotionally raw. Watching him fail in Season 2 was heartbreaking, but it felt true to the character and the story. Season 3 will be his chance to find redemption, even if it’s not a happy ending. I just hope the show continues to balance the personal stakes with the larger commentaryβ€”it’s what makes Squid Game so much more than just a survival thriller.

I’m really curious about the American spin-off. It’s not a remake, so that already has me intrigued. The fact that it’s set in the same universe as the Korean version opens up so many possibilities. I’m wondering if it’ll explore different regions or games, maybe even introduce new elements that we haven’t seen yet. I’m hoping it doesn’t try to copy the original too much but instead brings something fresh while still keeping the intense, high-stakes atmosphere we love. I’m definitely keeping an eye on this one to see how it expands the Squid Game world!
