Namco Bandai announced yesterday that they would be releasing the iconic weapon fighting game Soul Calibur for iphone on the 19th of this month.
After the success of Street Fighter and The King of Fighters on the iphone, Ipad and Ipad touch it was inevitable that more clasic 3D fighting games would be ported over to iOS.
According to Japanese gaming site Andriasang, the game will be a direct port of the arcade/Dreamcast original Soul Calibur game, including all 19 fighters and an array of game modes including Arcade Battle, Time Attack, and Survival.Several of the modes will also be compatible with Game Centers leader boards.
The game will run on iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4 and iPad 2. No word on price just yet.
