Soon, You Too Can Visit The Upside-Down
Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights has become a major attraction for the theme park over the last few years. Usually the latest event will be based around a popular movie or TV show with horror elements. For 2018 they’ve come up with the idea of recreating the Upside-Down from Stranger Things.
Yes, you and all your friends will be able to visit the blue, dimly lit, vine-covered dimension for yourselves this Halloween. In fact the maze will contain more than one environment…you’ll also get to visit Hawkins Lab and the Byers’ house circa Season One with the Christmas lights strung everywhere. Count on being jump-scared by at least one Demogorgon, but don’t bet on any Demodogs unless they find some actual canines willing to wear scaly suits for hours.
The Stranger Things maze will appear at all Universal parks (Hollywood, Orlando Resort, and Singapore). Halloween Horror Nights begins September 14 in Hollywood and Orlando and september 28 in Singapore.
This is just the first announcement from Universal regarding their Halloween Horror Nights plans. If past years are any indication, there will be more than just Stranger Things represented. Stay tuned for further announcements!
