It looks as though Sonic CD will be spin-dashing it’s way to a lot more than just XBLA…
Sonic CD will burst back onto the scene this year to a variety of platforms, not just XBLA as previously speculated. Sonic CD is considered one of the greatest Sonic games ever made and will make it’s long awaited re-release since first being available for the Sega CD add-on for Sega Genesis console in 1993 and PC in 1996. Notable for it’s inclusion of new characters in Amy Rose and Metal Sonic and the ability to travel through time, Sonic CD is widely considered as one of the best platformers of all time. For all of you who enjoyed Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1, it’s the perfect opportunity to pick up the last piece of the Genesis/CD Sonic the Hedgehog cannon.
Sonic CD will be available later this year for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Windows PC Digital Download, Android and Windows Phone.
