Scarlet Moon Halloween Is Back For Volume II

Last year around this time, Scarlet Moon Records released a special Halloween-themed album featuring a mix of video game covers, and said they planned to make it an annual tradition. They kept to their word — Scarlet Moon Halloween Volume II has now been released on all storefronts.

Last year’s Volume I featured spooky melodies from Doom, Silent Hill, Resident Evil and other games. Volume II stretches it a bit farther, taking tracks from games that aren’t primarily advertised as horror-centric, but have their moments. Talents featured on this year’s album include ROZEN (Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Sins of Hyrule), Goomin “Nauts” Nam (Ragnarok Online, DJMAX), Nami Nakagawa (vocalist on NieR series, Demon Slayer), and others.

“It’s my favorite time of year once again, and I’m excited to hear what our assembled talent have put together for fans,” notes Scarlet Moon’s Jayson Napolitano. “I absolutely adore the FINAL FANTASY XVI battle theme, am excited to introduce Nami Nakagawa to our listeners, and am thrilled by the unconventional track selections and style decisions on the album.
