Rudyard Kipling’s Kim Launches This Month
The Secret Games Company has officially announced the release date for the open-world RPG Kim. The upcoming game is due out later this month for Windows PC on Steam and GOG.com. The game is based on Rudyard Kipling’s literary classic, and it’s open-world RPG set in India.
You can also check out a new trailer for the game in the player below, featuring some brand-new gameplay footage. The game enables players to play as the ragamuffin hero called Kim. The game allows Kim to free roam around the game world’s hand-painted towns and an countryside that is procedurally generated. Players will have to survive the world by completing objectives, collecting various items and gaining favor with the spies of the secret service. The objective is to live Kim’s youth out in the game world as best as possible.
So far, the game looks pretty unique and original at least for a type of open-world action-adventure RPG. The art style definitely looks unique and interesting for this type of gameplay, so it might very well work.
Additionally, Kim is set to feature branching narrative paths, stealth, combat and also survival gameplay elements. Rudyard Kipling’s Kim hits PC on October 24, 2016 on Steam and GOG.com.
