revenge

Revenge Opens This Friday

Good news for fans of foreign thrillers….Uncork’d Entertaiment has picked up the Norwegian movie “Revenge” and will be showing it this Friday on selected screens.

Travelling under a false identity, Rebekka sets out on a mission to confront Morten Holand whom she shares a dark secret surrounding the death of her sister. As her plan falls apart, Rebekka is forced to face the devastating consequences of her actions and must decide how far she is willing to go to seek revenge.

The cast and crew of Revenge is a hornet’s nest of Norse Names, all of whom you’ve probably never heard of. Starring in the picture are Siren Jørgensen, Frode Winther, Maria Bock, and Anders Baasmo Christiansen. It was written and directed by Kjersti Steinsbø, and produced by Kristine Knudsen, Paul Barkin, Mark Gingras, and Lisa G. Black.

Revenge will be in theaters for about two weeks; after that, we should start hearing about a home video release. The only specific market Uncork’d has mentioned is LA, so check your local listings.
