Respawn Entertainment’s first game to be unveiled at E3
Remember Respawn entertainment, the independent developer founded three years ago by ex-Infinity Ward head honchos Jason West and Vince Zampella? Well, the studio is readying itself for the reveal of its first project at this year’s E3 exhibition.
Shortly after Kotaku published an “our source says” article suggesting that Respawn is working on a futuristic, always-online, multiplayer-centric shooter exclusive to the Xbox 360 and ‘Durango’ (Microsoft’s codenamed next-gen Box), the following was posted on Twitter:
Wow! Lots of speculation tonight. Great to see excitement about our project but you’ll all have to wait for E3 for details.

Whatever the truth is, we won’t know it before June 11th at the earliest. Until then, we’ll just have to continue musing over the only credible clue we have about Respawn’s first game thus far – a single, blurry image:
Unless we’ll be playing the role of a severely short-sighted protagonist, it isn’t an awful lot to go on.
