Resident Evil 0 Will Feature Albert Wesker as Playable Character
Capcom this week announced some new details on the upcoming re-release of Resident Evil 0, which will feature fan-favorite villain and character Albert Wesker as a playable character in Wesker Mode. In Wesker Mode, players will be able to play the game as alternative character Wesker alongside S.T.A.R.S. member Rebecca Chambers. This will be a new original mode for the upcoming upgraded and remastered version of Resident Evil 0.
In the game, both characters will have a special themed outfit for the gameplay mode. Wesker will replace the traditional gameplay character of Billy Coen for the alternate mode. Based on a new gameplay video, Wesker will also have his special enhanced abilities that players can utilize to dispatch various monsters. Getting to play as the franchise’s most infamous villain is definitely an interesting bonus for this upcoming remake.
Resident Evil 0 will be available on January 19, 2016 as a digital release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. In addition, players will be able to purchase the game in the Resident Evil Origins Collection, which will be a physical disc release that includes both the upgraded remastered versions of Resident Evil 0 and the Resident Evil Remake.
