Resident Evil 7: Kitchen Demo Now on PSVR
Capcom officially announced today that the Resident Evil 7 “Kitchen” demo is now available today, coinciding with the launch for the PlayStation VR hardware. The demo is included on a disc as part of the PlayStation VR headset package for the North American release. Additionally, gamers in Europe will be able to get it as a free demo if they own PlayStation VR.
The “Kitchen” demo is a quick and intense look at the Resident Evil 7 biohazard experience, which is set to launch early next year. The teaser demo shows a disturbing kitchen that provides gamers an uneasy backdrop for a scenario that draws them into a horrific, virtual world.
After Resident Evil 7 launches in 2017, this will be one of the first AAA game releases that will be completely playable in virtual reality. This option will be available to gamers from start to finish, or any part afterward on the PlayStation 4. As a result, players will have complete control and flexibility of how they want to use the PlayStation VR Mode for the game. Additionally, Capcom confirmed that players will be able to use the same save data to play the game in standard mode or PlayStation VR mode at any point they wish.
Resident Evil 7 biohazard launches on January 24, 2017. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. However, the VR version will only be available on PlayStation VR at launch. However, it could turn out to be a timed exclusivity period.
