Ratchet & Clank Collection Confirmed for PS3

It’s about time. Ratchet and Clank’s first three adventures are coming to the PS3!

It’s been rumoured for years and today it was finally announced, the Ratchet and Clank Collection is coming to PS3.

It’s been close to 10 years since Ratchet and Clank’s first adventure on the PS2 and the two haven’t missed a step since then appearing in multiple games on the PS2, PS3, and the PSP. To celebrate the anniversary, Ratchet and Clank will relive their glory days in the Ratchet and Clank Collection on the PS3

Idol Minds will handle the remasters of Ratchet and Clank, Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal. Each will be remastered in Full 1080p HD and have 720p Stereoscopic 3D support. The games will each have a Platinum trophy for a total of three and as a special bonus, the competitive multiplayer component from Up Your Arsenal will be included as well.

The Ratchet and Clank Collection will release this Spring in Europe and this Fall in North America. The reason for the delay in the NA release is apparently a surprise coinciding with the tenth anniversary of Ratchet and Clank. Very interesting to say the least.

We’ll have the surprise when it’s announced right here on TheParanoidGamer.
