Pokémon GO: Ditto Is Confirmed In-Game
According to a post on the official Pokémon Company website, gamers are now discovering the unique Pokemon Ditto in the Pokémon GO mobile game for the first time. According to the website, Ditto is a Pokemon unlike any other, with its curiously blobby shape and its ability to mimic the look and abilities of other Pokemon.”
The site suggested players start searching throughout their neighborhood to try and find Ditto. However, now the existence of Ditto in the game has been officially confirmed by The Pokemon Company.
Earlier this week, Gamespot reported that multiple people started voicing that Ditto was appearing and catchable in Pokémon GO. The trick is that Ditto actually masquerades as other Pokemon creatures. In other words, you only know you’ve caught Ditto after you’ve caught other Pokemon, and it reveals that you’ve caught a Ditto.
The report indicated that the Ditto phenomenon is most commonly occurring in the two kilometer egg group, such as Spearow and Magikarp and other generation one starter Pokemon. Others have claimed that Ditto can be disguised as some of the rarer monsters. However, that hasn’t really been confirmed.
Ditto’s one battle move is Transform, which turns it into the opponent’s Pokemon, allowing it to adopt the enemy’s moves.
