Some of you Playstation gamers might have noticed a few issues with Mics over on the Playstation network. Don’t worry your not the only ones. A few users on the Playstation forum, MAG, Socom 4 and a few other Playstation game forums are reporting that since firmware 3.70 launched many of their mic’s have become distorted or robotic like. A developer over on Socom 4 forums has stated that the issue is Playstation related and that Sony and them are looking into the issue.
A developer over on Socom 4 forums have stated that this issue is PS3 firmware related
“So as a quick update to the mic issue, what I’m told is that this looks like a PS3-centric issue and that the fix will likely have to come from Sony itself in a future firmware update. On our end, all mics are treated equally in both SOCOM and MAG, so the fact that some work while some don’t seems to make it an OS-level issue.
We are still following the problem and we’ll update you all if there are any changes that we can comment on, but it looks like this one is out of our hands.. “
Apparently their is a temporarily fixed for those using Blue tooth and have the issues. All what you have to do is delete the paired up blue tooth and repair it up with the console. It isn’t 100% fix, but it’ll help some.
Hopefully the issue is fixed soon.
