Nintendo has updated its official site so that players can now post reviews of Switch games directly for others to see. Unfortunately, it doesn’t give users the chance to go into detail with their feedback, they can leave a star rating and choose from a selection of already existing tags.
Nintendo hopes that this will give developers more information about their game and the type of people who are playing them. It will also provide resources to parents wishing to buy titles for their children as they should be able to see whether games are kid-friendly or have mature themes from the feedback left by other players on the website.
The feature is currently being rolled out across different regions and will eventually be available for the entire library of games on the Nintendo Switch. To stop users from posting fake reviews, anyone wishing to leave a review will have to have played the game for at least two hours.
