Ori and the Blind Forest Delayed To 2015

Xbox One console exclusive Ori and the Blind Forest has been delayed to 2015, Moon Studios announced today.

At Tokyo Game Show this year, Microsoft announced that the platformer would be released by the end of 2014. Unfortunately, that’s not the case anymore. In a post on the game’s website, Moon Studios announced that the game would now be released in early 2015.

“While we’re extremely excited for all of you to get your hands on Ori and the Blind Forest as soon as possible, we made the decision together with our partners at Microsoft Studios that we’ll need just a little more time in order to add a final layer of polish to – what we hope – will be an unforgettable gaming experience,” the developer writes.

In addition to Xbox One, Ori and the Blind Forest will also be coming to PC. It may also launch on the Xbox 360, but the developer made no mention of the last-gen version. We’ll update you when we hear more.
