It’s time for the Oni Press Solicitations February 2024. Here’s what Oni Press has planned for next February’s graphic novel entertainment.

Have you been enjoying Scott Pilgrim Takes Off on Netflix? It was one of the series that put Oni on the map nearly twenty years ago (yikes). In 2024 it’ll be precisely 20 years since the first volume of Scott’s adventure came out, and to celebrate, Oni is preparing a 20th Anniversary Box Set in both color and black-and-white variants. The boxes contain the entire series in hardcover, a compliation of extra material, and a sheet of stickers, housed in a box sporting new art by Bryan Lee O’Malley. The sets will be in stores this July.

They call themselves the Cemetery Kids: four friends who can’t get enough of the hot new video game “Nightmare Cemetery” and play it together every chance they get…which is every night, because the Dreamwave is a console you play in your dreams. But perhaps the device didn’t spend enough time in testing: one of the kids isn’t waking up. It’s up to the other three to venture deep into the game’s world and find out why. They have to save him because CEMETERY KIDS DON’T DIE! The first issue of this four-part story will be released February 7, written by Zac Thompson and drawn by Daniel Ikizarri.

The largest Rick and Morty crossover event starts this February with FINALS WEEK: four oversized issues each taking place in a different part of the multiverse. Issue 1 follows the chaotic duo as they become Sherick Holmes and Mortson….they’re hot on the trail of a big mystery, but the real case for Mortson may be figuring out Sherick’s true motive. Watch for RICK AND MORTY FINALS WEEK #1 February 21.

Finally, Oni will be publishing Brittany Long Olsen’s THE HAPPY SHOP as one volume in February. The titular shop deals in jars that, when opened, produce pleasant sensations…the product is literally jarred happiness, in specific flavors like “Picking up the last sweater on the rack and it’s on sale” and “Having the perfect weather on your wedding day.” Once a kid named Darcy starts working for the Happy Shop, she notices a lack of customers. She thinks maybe they could broaden their base by widening their inventory…how about a jar stuffed with “Rai-ai-aiiiin on your wedding day” instead? They could sell irony.
