Obi-Wan Kenobi, A Star Wars Midquel series coming to Disney Plus

 

Obi-Wan Kenobi is an original series coming to Disney Plus. After the success of Star Wars Spin-Offs like The Mandalorian and Boba Fett. We will get another side story to expand the Star Wars Universe lore. Fans of the 2000s trilogy will have their Nostalgia turn because of a reunion they never thought would be possible.

Ewan McGregor, who played him in the Prequel trilogy, reprises the role almost two decades since the first time he played Luke Skywalker’s Mentor. Speaking of Luke Skywalker, His Dad is back because Hayden Christensen will be playing the Darth Vader full time for the first time since Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. It has been a decade and seven years since these actors worked together. Both Actors have no Social Media. So they won’t be seen any adverse reaction if this show bombed, but they won’t see the positive responses either.

The Prequel trilogy has such controversial notoriety among fans. The infamy nearly damaged some of the actors who starred in it. This project could be a redemption story, especially on Christiansen’s part. Now there is this Nostalgia of the Early 2000s as these actors agreed to play these roles again. The positive reactions the Mandalorian and Boba Fett got might be the euphoric moment they have been waiting for a long time. If Obi-Wan Kenobi successfully gets another season, we can see more familiar faces making a comeback.
