Nuclear Blaze Burns Up Steam

Deepnight Games has launched the fire fighting action-adventure game Nuclear Blaze on Steam.

You’re a trained firefighter dropped by air into the middle of a national emergency. A military facility is on fire and the survivors need to be rescued! It won’t be easy as each room is fully ablaze and will need to be put out entirely before continuing. In some cases there will be locked doors and a key to search for. And then there are the trapped cats…what decent firefighter wouldn’t go after them?

Sébastien Bénard, creator of Dead Cells, cooked up Nuclear Blaze in one weekend for a Game Jam. He received overwhelmingly positive feedback, but wasn’t truly convinced he had something until his 3-year-old son became hooked on the game. He decided to expand it to a full-fledged product by adding more levels, features and a soundtrack composed by Pentadrangle and sound effects from Marios Aristopoulos.

  • The smooth “signature” controls and gameplay made famous by Sébastien Benard, former Motion Twin associate, and lead dev and game-designer on Dead Cells.
  • Multiple unique levels to explore as you make your way through the flaming hellscape of a mysterious military facility.
  • Dedicated “Kid mode” designed for children ages 3+, level design, settings and gameplay is adjusted so that this challenging adventure can be enjoyed by everyone! Kid mode offers an “invincibility mode”, auto-aimed fire hose, and many cats to save! And trucks. Kids love trucks.

Nuclear Blaze is now available on Steam for $8.99 (a one dollar launch discount from its typical price).
