New ‘Fire Emblem: Awakening’ Wifi Details
Fire Emblem: Awakening is the first Nintendo published title which supports the recently revealed Nintendo Network, which will provide the game with some post-launch DLC, wondering what else?
Some of the extra features include the following…
– allows for local wi-fi dual tags
– allows nearby allies to join you in a skirmish
– friends act as extra support
– also supports StreetPass for My Unit exchanging and side-story maps
– features a bond system, which affects battles
– develop ties when fighting together on the battlefield
I’ve never played a Fire Emblem game myself, but have recently enjoyed several Intelligent Systems developed titles, so will definitely be checking this out when it launches later this year!

Fire Emblem is one of my favorite Nintendo franchises hands down. You might try out some of them that are already out on GBA and DS.
Stories are usually political and well done with magic, dragons and the like thrown in. It’s good fun and the strategy is top notch. It’s really challenging to keep all your people alive and the art is fantastic.

You are right about the political part. Actually, it’s the politics + magic + medieval setting that made me play the Fire Emblem games. You know what, it’s really sad that Nintendo will not release the second Nintendo DS game. But we have Awakening now and I hope it gets released outside Japan soon!
By the way, I hope it is okay that I use this article as a source. ^_^
