New Dying Light Video Showcases Co-Op Gameplay

If you have been wanting a look at the co-op mode for the upcoming zombie survival horror video game, Dying Light, Techland has released a new video highlighting just that. The new video is available below and shows producer Tymon Smektala, game designer Maciej Binkowski, brand manager Pawel Modlinski, and assistant producer Marcel Mitraszewski offering a look at the co-op mode for the game.

For the co-op mode, players will be able to work in tandem for some advanced gameplay tactics to take down enemy combatants and zombies alike. Dying Light is set to feature a seamless drop-in/drop-out co-op mode. The co-op mode will accommodate up to four players. According to Techland, the multiplayer co-op experience for the game is fully integrated with the single-player campaign. Players may complete quests together, explore the quarantine zone and also partake in co-op challenges.

Besides multiplayer co-op, the game will also offer an asymmetic PvP multiplayer mode. The competitive multiplayer mode is for up to five players (4v1). However, this gameplay mode will only be available in the Be the Zombie DLC mode release. Techland announced that the first official footage for the Be the Zombie mode will be released on the Techland Twitch stream on January 24 at 10AM PST at Twitch.tv/Techland.

The release for Dying Light is nearly here. The game drops on January 27 next week for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
