John Hennigan, former pro wrestling World Champion, will star in Never Leave Alive, a new film from Wild Eye Releasing coming next month.
Through shenanigans, Hennigan’s character Rick winds up on a remote deserted island — except it’s not so deserted. Zaroff, an ex-KGB agent, is hiding from the law on that island, and he’s well-fortified with endless rounds of ammunition and firepower.
Two other people made it to the island with Rick. One of them is badly wounded and the other, Anna, has no choice but to help Rick take down Zaroff if they want to escape and get him to medical attention.
In addition to Hennigan, Never Leave Alive also stars Joseph Gatt, Michelle Taylor, and Eric Etebari. It was directed by Steven LaMorte, and it’ll be out on VOD platforms November 7. Here’s the trailer….
Rick Rainsford is trapped on a deserted island with his reluctant companion, Anna. While attempting to save another gravely injured survivor they find themselves hunted by Zaroff, a sociopathic ex-KGB Agent long with his partner Ivan. In spite of their differences Rick and Anna must work together to disarm Zaroff’s deadly traps, survive his assistant’s brutal attacks, and escape the island alive.
