Mosaic Chronicles Coming To Mobile
Last summer, Error300 Games released Mosaic Chronicles, a unique puzzle game where the main task is assembling pieces of stained glass to create art (and reveal parts of a story). Until now the game was a PC exclusive, but it’s soon coming to mobile devices too.
On each screen, you’re given a canvas and many pieces of stained glass. Each piece will only fit in one spot, and you must find it, much like a cardboard puzzle (but prettier to look at). The art you’re assembling illustrates two stories from author Olga Gromyko: “A Bit of Horoscoping” and “The Lucky Knot.” Each completed piece tells a part of the story and you’ll learn more as you play.
Here’s the deal with the mobile version, though: it’ll arrive only half-completed. Just one of the two stories (Horoscoping) will be available to play; the other will be added as an update later on. But this version is free (ad-supported, with one paid option to get rid of the ads).
- Experience Olga Gromyko’s “A Bit of Horoscoping” short story from a whole new perspective.
- Enjoy more than a dozen beautiful stained glass mosaics that you can assemble piece by piece.
- Complete each mosaic to advance the story.
- Visit the gallery to view completed mosaics – and track your progress, of course!
- Choose from 3 difficulty levels.
Owners of the original PC version of Mosaic Chronicles will find a new update around the same time, which adds these features:
- Improved functionality of the “Continue” button – which now loads the mosaic in progress (if any).
- Added “rotate with scroll” feature in the hotkeys menu – which, once checked, enables rotating mosaic elements by using the mouse scroll wheel as long as the piece is placed on the playfield.
- Added a “preview” hotkey that shows and hides the preview image.
- Added mosaics 5-7 in “The Lucky Knot” story.
The 1.1 update for Mosaic Chronicles will arrive March 7 on PC. The mobile version of the game will be made available March 10 on iOS and Android.
