Moana: New Videos and Clip Released

The next animated feature for Walt Disney Animation Studios is the new movie Moana. This week, Disney revealed some new video material, expanding the overall look into the world of the film. You can check out a new clip for Moana and a new behind-the-scenes featurette below.

The new clip is showcasing one of the scenes in the film along with a new song, “We Know the Way.” This is a new track written for the film by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Opetaia Foa‘i. The song is performed by both artists as well. The song showcases the voyaging life of Moana’s ancestors going across the ocean.

The other video is a behind-the-scenes video called “The Way to Moana.” This featurette features some new material from the filmmakers, voice actors, song writers and key advisors for the film. The advisors for Moana actually hailed from the Pacific Islands to give the movie a greater level of authenticity.

The new Disney animated event arrives in theaters on November 23.

  1. As I mentioned in a previous post I am getting too excited to watch this movie for all the positive reviews I have read and seen. Not only is the animation great but the music is beautiful and memorable. This movie is different than the rest of the Disney movies which I find it's a plus that they show different story lines and scenes.
