Metal Gear Survive: New Gameplay Video Released
During the 2016 Tokyo Game Show, Konami revealed a new trailer for the upcoming new spin-off game for the Metal Gear franchise, Metal Gear Survive. You can check out the extended gameplay video with new footage in the player below. The new footage is in Japanese with English subtitles.
The gameplay shows a squad of four players working together on a mission to infiltrate a dilapidated compound. Then, the players have to defend the compound from an onslaught of zombie-like creatures, who are relentless. The squad then has to use co-op, stealth, infiltration and also defense tactics. Gamers in Survive will have to use their special equipment and their weapons to be successful. The footage also shows some new and also familiar tactics from the franchise that are a part of Metal Gear Survive.
One of the new weapons in the game can create a wormhole. Players can also set up things like spike traps. However, the game might have a bit of a muddled reputation, as this is a Metal Gear video game that franchise creator Hideo Kojima has absolutely no input in.
Metal Gear Survive is slated for a 2017 release. The game is being developed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
