Mega Man Timelines will be a series of five one-shot comics that explore the different eras of Mega Man history, from his 8-bit origins, through the 16-bit X years, to the “Legends” variation on the Playstation. The first issue focused on the original Mega Man and was released May 28. Now it’s summer, and it’s X’s turn to shine!
Both Mega Man X Timelines and Mega Man Zero Timelines will hit shelves soon — X comes first, and features a story in which X and Zero “track down a rogue Maverick Reploid – the ice cool Chill Penguin! Plus, secrets revealed! How will the future change once X learns what he’s truly fighting for!?” Look for it July 23…and we’ve got some dialogue-less preview pages!

Yeah, I hated that disc-chucking robot too.
Mega Man Zero Timelines will arrive one month later, on August 13. It’s a Zero solo story, and UDON isn’t saying much about the events inside, save this: “Lost in a barren wasteland, the heroic reploid Zero fights on! The world he knows is gone, but a new future is rising, and it needs protection.” Perhaps you can glean more details from the four-page preview, which once again has no word balloons:

Mega Man Timelines X was written by Daniel Arsenault and illustrated by Edwin Huang. Mega Man Timelines Zero was scripted by Ian Flynn, the guy who writes Sonic (and wrote the Mega Man Archie series back in the day) and drawn by Hanzo Steinbach. Many different variant covers will be available on their launch days; here are just a few.
