No Steve Rodgers nor Sam Wilson came out of the closet because it will be a new character taking the mantle .
Marvel introduces the next character to use the Mantle of Captain America. Aaron Fisher is a teenage LGBT who will be using the identity of Captain America of the Railways. Marvel artist Jan Bazaldua authored the latest Captain America. She is a transgender comic book artist. She mostly write about LGBT characters and this is her biggest break this year.
Aaron Fischer doesn’t have the expensive-looking suit Steve Rodgers has because he is an un-homed teen. As Captain America, he will be the one to protect teenage runaways and homeless people. He will debut on the mini-series titled “United States of Captain America.” It is a new adventure starring Original Captain America, Steve Rodgers who is looking for his missing shield. There he will meet the people he inspired that decided to continue his mantle. He will meet a Captain America from different regions of the United States and Captain America of the Railways is one of the people he will meet.
Aaron is more of a Batman than a Captain America because he seemed to have no powers. He does look like a free runner with parkour skills. The New Captain is a more grounded superhero because his enemies will be more on the realistic side. Activist and Superheroes of the queer community has inspired him to become a Superhero. Marvel have a clear objective of having a more diverse pool of Superheroes.
