You may have played an RPG before, but this game wants you to make your own for others! Check out this new Steam demo for Let’s Build a Dungeon!
Developed by Springloaded, Let’s Build a Dungeon is a unique management simulator. You create and manage an RPG for virtual players to enjoy. From quests, dungeons, NPCs, and more, you have full control over everything in the game as you make in your own image.

The game emphasizes creativity above all else, with every aspect being deeply customizable. Sprites for NPCs can be freely created and edited, and dialogue written however you want. Let’s Build a Dungeon is not just a game, but a sandbox for those that emulates the feeling of developing a game.
The game is split into multiple different modes, each giving players a different way to experience the gameplay. The primary Campaign mode has you in charge of running a studio and developing the game. On top of developing the game, you have to manage your workers and players to make money, and retain both your staff and audience.

If you find managing a company to be too much, there is also the Just Build mode. As the name suggests, you’re only tasked with building a world through the use of a deck building system. This laid back mode that allows you to relax and mess around to make a successful RPG.
However, if you want to really immerse yourself into developing a game, then Creative mode is what you need. This mode is all about creating the world how you want, with no management or deck building involved. If you yearn to develop a game, than a dip into Creative mode may spur you onto even greater things.

Let’s Build a Dungeon is expected to release in 2026 for both Xbox and Steam. Steam also has a demo available to play for free. You can discuss Let’s Build a Dungeon on the PopGeeks Video Game Forum!
