Kraven the Hunter is the next Spiderman villain, Sony Converted into a Superhero. Sonic have the movie rights for Spiderman despite of him being a Marvel Superhero. Sony let Spiderman be part of the MCU, shielding him from the negative treatment inflicted upon the X-Men.. The Fox/X-men situation back then leads to Marvel trying to destroy X-menand replace them with Inhumans.
Since Sony have the rights for Spiderman, they also have rights for characters of his lore. Sony’s co-ownership of Spider-Man extends beyond Peter Parker, which is why we have movies featuring Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy. Since Sony wants to milk the Spider-verse more, they tried converting some of Spiderman’s villains into heroes. They Succeed with Venom as he got a sequel and another one coming. Kraven the Hunter will be the first White South African superhero on Screen. Aaron Taylor-Johnson who is rumored to be the next James Bond plays the role. He previously played Quicksilver in the MCU but he is not recognizable to his past roles.
The Movie will still follow is origin story but instead of hunting Spiderman he will be more heroic. I am glad they redesigned him because this is what he looks like in the comics:

Unlike the previous Spiderman villains turned antihero by Sony, Kraven the Hunter is more budget friendly since he fights with Martial Arts, Fire arms and melee weapon. Kraven the Hunter has improved physical talents and capabilities, but he lacks superhuman abilities in the classic sense. He has polished his body via rigorous training, and he possesses extraordinary strength, speed, agility, and reflexes.
Kraven is also a master hunter and a great hand-to-hand warrior, making him a fearsome opponent. Furthermore, over the years, he has acquired a range of specialized hunting skills and strategies that he employs in his pursuit of difficult prey. Despite the fact that he lacks magical talents, his tremendous physical prowess and cunning make him a dangerous foe.
In the film, though, his eye color changes to that of a lion. As a result, he may exhibit cat-like reflexes. This gives people theory he got powers from Lion Blood. In the Comics, He see Spiderman as ultimate trophy. Spiderman don’t exist in this movie so he became the hero.
From what I see in the trailer it wont be a CGI heavy film. It will be more similar to The Black Widow movie.

When he was a little boy, Sergei Kravinoff (Aaron-Taylor Johnson) joins his father on his trophy Hunting in South Africa. When a lion attacks him, His dad (Russell Crowe) asked him to shoot the lion. He failed and the Lion mauled him. His father disappointed for having a weak son, left him for dead. The Lion might be had been through the same radio-active the Spider that Bit Peter Parker had. A drop of the Lion’s blood gave him superior human reflexes, instinct and cures him from his injuries.
Do you think this will become a hit like Venom or would it be a running source of ridicule memes like Morbius? It is expected to be in theaters this October 6, 2023.
