Human Element is Robotoki’s First Game
You’ve probably heard of Robert Bowling. He used to work at Infinity Ward on Call of Duty, but then one day he didn’t – he started up his own company, Robotoki, and they just announced their first game. Yep, it’s a zombie game.
Talking to Game Informer, Bowling talked of Human Element’s main theme being that of fear:
“Their greatest strength is the fear that [zombies] instill in us, the survivors, that unreasonable fear. Unreasonable fear that leads us to do unreasonable things to survive.
How you choose to start in the world will determine how you can engage and impacts the scenarios you will be presented with on a physical and morality level.”
Players will pick from three different classes – Action, Intelligence and Stealth – as well as three different scenarios that their player characters will find themselves in – surviving alone, surviving with a partner, or surviving with a young child. The last option, perhaps, sounds a tad similar to Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us, due 2012/2013.
Human Element is set for release to next-generation consoles, PC, and mobile devices in 2015 (wow, that’s a long way off).
