Ubisoft officially announced today that the the upcoming game For Honor is going to receie a special closed alpha. Players also have the option of registering to participate for the closed alpha at www.forhonorgame.com. The closed alpha demo will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC and will run from September 15 at 6:00 a.m. PT through September 18 at 5:00 p.m. PT.
This is being described as a work-in-progress test that will feature a slice of the multiplayer content, along with a limited number of players in order to generate feedback and assess the game for stability. Players will be able to embody the elite warriors of the Knights, Viking, and Samurai factions. Additionally, the closed alpha will feature four previously showcased Heroes introduced for the game, including the Kensei, the Orochi, the Warden, and the Raider. There will also be two new warriors, the Conqueror and the Berserker. Each Hero has their own unique set of skills, weapons, armor and fighting styles. There is also a variety of customization options.
The closed alpha test will also feature a look at the game’s progression system, which can be used to unlock new abilities, weapons and armor. There are also some new visual customization options following a fight on the battlefield. The test will include three of the five multiplayer modes, including Duel (1v1 mode), Brawl (2v2 mode) and Dominion (4v4 mode). Each mode has different maps to allow gamers to develop their skills by using environmental advantages.
For Honor arrives on February 14, 2017. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox one and Windows PC.
